We offer a warm welcome to all.
The retreat house is in a beautiful
building with stunning surroundings.
The Alegraluz retreat house has 7 rooms
and can house up to 20 people.
Overnight accommodation can be in simple rooms
with shared facilities to en suite rooms with modern facilities.
You can choose the one that is best suited to you.
The Alegraluz retreat house provides wholesome,
home cooked food and can accommodate special dietary needs
(with advanced notice).

How long is a retreat?

A retreat varies in length but is usually anything from 2 to 7 days.
Some are up to 30 days, depending on the programme.
There are also 1 day retreats.

Is there a charge for going on retreat?

We charge our visitors a competitive rate to cover costs that include:
• maintaining the house
• providing food
• providing overnight accommodation
• paying of staff
• paying of bills
